Rob and I were married on January 5th of this year. Before getting married, Rob and I had been together for almost four years. We met in October of 2003, in the parking lot of our employer, H-E-B. We were both hired in the same week, and six months later began dating. Meeting Rob was the only good thing that ever came out of working at H-E-B, because I found in him everything that I needed to make me feel complete and alive.

The ceremony was performed by a Catholic priest at the church, and the reception was held immediately afterward at the local country club. It was not a huge wedding, with only about 150 guests in attendance (give or take a few). We were surrounded by family and friends on this special day, and that’s what was most important. Photos of the wedding can be found here, but you must add me as a friend to be able to view them.
Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, is not pompous, it is not inflated. It is not rude, it does not seek its own interests. It is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury. It does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love is powerful and it is beautiful. What Rob and I have is something so pure, and so beautiful. I feel like everything in this world is beautiful when I am with him. I never believed in soul mates until I met him, but I feel as though God helped us find each other. I have never been happier than now, being married to the man I love and admire.
