THE LIST

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Tasks that are italicized are currently in progress. Those that have been crossed out have been completed. Most will have dates of completion or links to entries.

This list ends on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.

Health/Wellness

  • Lose ten pounds.
  • Lose a total of thirty pounds.
  • Avoid eating takeout for at least two weeks.
  • Excercise at least twice a week for thirty days.
  • Wear my old “skinny jeans” again.
  • Get an annual check-up.
  • Be able to run one mile, nonstop.
  • Give up chocolate for a month.
  • Eat breakfast everyday for a month.
  • Be able to do 20 pushups nonstop.
  • Find an OBGYN that I’m comfortable with.

Education

  • Graduate with at least a 3.0 overall GPA. 05/10/08
  • Obtain my Bachelors degree in Education. 05/10/08
  • Pass my PPR exam in February. (270/300) 03/14/08
  • Pass my TOPT exam in May. 5/30/08
  • Pass all three exams on the first try. 5/30/08
  • Obtain certification to teach in the state of Texas.
  • Start working on my Master’s in Education or Administration.

Financial

  • Have at least $2,500 in savings.
  • Sell my Mustang for at least $6,000. 03/22/08

  • Sell something on eBay.
