Rob and I went to the haunted house here in our city, the Rotting Flesh Factory. We waited in line for almost two hours to get in, but in the end I think it was worth it. I almost lost my voice from all the screaming, but that was to be expected. The line was moving pretty fast during the last hour of our wait, but then it stopped because someone had to be taken away in an ambulance. I had to admit, I started getting pretty nervous when I saw that. :worried: As we were getting close to the entrance, I had to go to the restroom but I didn’t feel like using the port-a-potties. They’re so disgusting and very unhygienic. I just hoped that I wouldn’t lose control of my bladder while in the haunted house.

Anyway, we entered the haunted house with three other girls who were in front of us. I’m really glad that they were first because they pretty much got the worst of it. I think the one that scared me the most was the room that was completely empty (or so we thought). I had told myself never to turn around, but for some reason I turned to look back behind me and I just started screaming like mad. It was a guy that resembled Leatherface, and he was wielding a chainsaw as he jumped out of a dark corner and started running towards us. I really felt sorry for the girl in front of me, because I kept pushing her as I tried to escape the room. She was going much too slow for my liking, especially when Leatherface was running after you with a chainsaw!

I hated the feeling of anticipation, and just waiting for something to pop up and scare the living daylights out of you. I know my boyfriend absolutely loved it. He lives for things like this. The other room that I hated was the one with clowns. I absolutely hate clowns, and I can’t even look at them in real life without picture blood coming out of their mouths or something. Thank you Stephen King, for instilling my fear of clowns. :shifty: I closed my eyes through most of that room and managed to get to the next room without looking at them. Rob said that one of the clowns was dripping blood and coming dangerously close to me, and I’m thankful I had my eyes closed. I think I would have soiled myself on that one.

Anyway, there’s another haunted house that we want to go to. It’s two stories, and it’s supposed to be much more terrifying than the one we went to last night. Hopefully I can survive that one. So, have any of you guys gone to haunted houses? Were they scary, or not worth the money you paid to get in?

Whoa, that sounds freaky. I think the anticipation would definitely diminish the fear for me, but I’d probably get spooked anyway.

I’ve never been to a haunted house, but I have been on those little rides at amusemet parks that are supposed to be scary. I was more frightened of the bumpy ride itself, rather than the monsters popping out!

You’re WAY braver than me. I never go to haunted houses… Not after the experience I had in a haunted cornfield maze. Scary movies and rollercoasters are enough!

Last year I went to this place in Ohio and I got scarred because it was like you are on your knees crawling through this one part and on the otherside this guy was there to scare you and I almost knocked him out, but I pulled my hand back at the last minute.

At least someone had a good haunted house experience this year, the haunted houses I went to sucked. *miffed*
