Man this week has been hectic. I honestly don’t know how some people can take up to six classes a semester. I’m only taking three this semester and the workload is pretty heavy. Then again, I guess I have to take into consideration the fact that not everyone works while attending school. Man I would have it so easy if I didn’t have to work 35 hours a week to pay my bills. I’d have enough time for everything without missing sleep or stressing. :tired: Ah, it doesn’t matter if I work anyway. I’m the world’s biggest procrastinator and so I would still find a way to be doing that big research paper at two in the morning before it’s due.

I want a new desktop. I have a Dell that’s about three (maybe four?) years old and refuses to work anymore. It’s horrible because it turns on, and lets you do about 75% of your work before BAM! It shuts down on you and displays a blue screen with a bunch of meaningless text. And all your work is lost, of course. :irked: It’s probably a virus, but we haven’t had it checked out. I’ve been procrastinating! It’s outdated now anyway what with Windows Vista and Microsoft 2007 out already. I think I’ll wait until a good desktop with twice the memory and triple the space comes out. They keep getting cheaper and cheaper all the time. As for my old Dell, I guess I can get it fixed and give it to my niece. She’s in desperate need of a computer, period. I may update it for her first, though.

Working and going to school IS alot, so kudos to you! Some people I know can’t take just one or two classes without freaking and that’s without working too haha.

And aw dell. :( I’ve heard so so things about them but I think your plan of giving it to your niece eventually sounds really nice. It’s crazy how cheap computers have become, where were these prices 5+ years ago?!

Yeah, I have no clue how I could manage college while working too.

I always want to get a new desktop, but then I realize that a year later, mine’s already outdated. It’s just a crazy cycle!

Eeh… school sounds hectic for you; it must be hard having to pay your own bills and stuff yeah ._.” -so glad I’m still in high school- xD.

Omg; it’s terrible your computer is dying { in my terms anyway } xD. Haha yeah, you should stick with your old dell for a while until prices get lower. =]

    Hello,

My name is Mike, I’m a Dell Technical Analyst located at Dell corporate headquarters in Round Rock, TX. I’m part of an internet outreach team developed to interact with the online community regarding technical questions and issues that customers face with Dell products. I read your post and wanted to offer some help. If you could reply to me at Customer_advocate@dell.com with my name and this description in the subject line, “ATTN: Mike B. (Dell BSOD)”, I will get back to you ASAP. If you could include the type of Blue Screen error you receive (e.g. 0×0000007b INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE) as well as the Service Tag for your system I can see what I can do for you. I hope to hear from you soon.

    Thanks,

    Mike.
