It’s becoming very difficult to keep this website updated. Between my student teaching (which I absolutely love) and my night class, I just don’t have time to keep up with this as much as I’d like to. I get home from working with the kids and then I have to work on my homework for my night class. Believe me, it’s a bit overwhelming the things we have to do for that class. :worried:

When I do have some free time, I like to spend that time with my husband and not glued to the computer screen. He leaves for Navy boot camp in about fifteen days, and I want to spend as much time as I possibly can with him. I’m going to miss him so much when he leaves, but I don’t want to think about that. It gets me depressed when I think that I won’t hear from him for two months, except for a lousy thirty-second phone call once he gets to boot camp to let me know he get there okay.

No, I don’t want to dwell on that. :punch:

So anyway, that’s the reason I won’t be updating this weblog for a while. I want to spend as much time as I can with my hubby before he leaves. I’ll be back sometime in the middle of February, depending on how I’m handling things once he’s gone. :frown:

I’ll still be around, lurking. Occasionally. :shy:

P.S. Does anyone else besides me totally want a MacBook Air?

Aww I hope that things work out good with the husband

And I totally understand about the hiatus thing..I’ve done that before because school was overwhelming. Good luck!

That’s such a long time to wait. I get impatient after just waiting a few minutes. :sweatdrop:

Goo luck on handling things though. And, i don’t really like macs, they’re hard to use since i’m not used to them.

Ah I know how you feel by when you say that it’s just too much, and you need to plan out your day and hours, and you don’t want to be glued to the computer all day. Take some time away! You’ll be back soon!

You do have a lot on your plate, and yes you certainly should spend time with him before he leaves. 2 months isn’t that bad though, and he’ll get to write letters too. It’s those deployments that are really long and painful.

awww… you go ahead & spend time with the hubby, dear. :shy: You’ll be missing him a lot for sure but memories of the time you’ll be spending together now will be good company when he’s away  .

We’re all guilty of neglected our online blogs once in a white. Don’t feel too bad and enjoy your free time with your family and friends. The net is not at the top of your priorities. :)

It’s normal that you want to be with him in that situation. I hope you two enjoy yourselves. Don’t worry about your visitors, they’ll still be here when you come back :)

Enjoy your time with your husband! I think that’s more important than being active online, but I’ll be awaiting your return :)

The Macbook Air might look nice, but it’s very unfunctional. No CD/DVD drive??

Awww, I’m sorry. I totally want the Macbook air, but unfort, I won’t be able to because it won’t be able to do what I need :(

I know exactly how you feel, I’ve had to scale down on my computer time as well because I’ve had so many other things to handle. I hope things work out for you, and enjoy your time with your husband.

Sorry that you’re going to be separated from your hubby, but maybe the distance will just bring you closer in the long run?
It’s funny, you’re the second blog I read about the new Mac book on. It does look pretty cool I must admit.

Everyone has that period when they don’t have enough time to do what they’d like to do. uality time is a lot more important (well, in my eyes it is)

As for the MacBook…I think I’d break it, LOL.
