There is one thing in life that never fails to annoy the hell out of me. Realizing that I could have saved money if I had just waited a little bit longer before buying something. Like when a product goes on sale, and you realize you could have saved about $100 bucks if you had just waited one or two more weeks. :irked: Or filling up the tank in your vehicle, only to have the price drop like ten cents the next day. That really gets my blood boiling because it never fails to happen to me. I will wait to see if they will lower the prices, only to get tired of waiting. I then fill up my tank because I’m running on empty, and the next day I see that everyone has lowered their prices. WTF.

Likewise, I was very upset when I heard about Apple’s new 3G iPhone coming out next month, with substantially lower prices. I went to the website to see for myself, and wouldn’t you know it. It’s plastered right on the Apple website.

Twice as fast. Half the price.

The new iPhone costs half of what mine cost. Not only that, but it’s slimmer, it’s entirely black, and the internet speed is considerably faster now that it also uses 3G networks. Plus, the maps feature also has GPS! I use the maps feature quite a bit, especially when I’m taking a trip to Chicago to see my husband. I would tell him all the time that I wish there was a feature that allowed the phone to automatically locate you and give you directions from there. He would look at me and say, “Uh…you mean like GPS?” Then I’d slap him upside the head for being a smartass. :sarcastic: But Apple was smart enough to come up with that idea as well, and boy do I want that feature!

I still wish they would have made a few more improvements on it, though. Such as adding video to it and maybe enhancing the camera to be able to zoom in/out. If they had done that, I would have been so jealous. Granted I still am, but that’s mostly due to the price they’ve given the iPhone. I just can’t believe they’d slash the price in half! I still have no clue as to why they’ve gone and done that.

I’ll probably end up selling my iPhone and getting the new one, though. My husband has already hinted to me that he’ll probably get us both the newer version. Which means I’ll probably be selling mine, even though I love it to death and have only had it for a few months. But it won’t be hard to sell since it’s a jailbroken phone ready to work with the T-Mobile service. I have a few people that have been eyeing my phone already. I really don’t want to give up mine, but those new features really have my attention. What to do, what to do!

I’m going to be incredibly busy over the next few days, if not the entire week. I just finished breaking the lease with my landlord and I have just a few days to get all my stuff out. I have so much stuff to do and it’s just daunting because most of it I have to do on my own. :???:

There’s so much crap we have around the apartment now that we didn’t have when we first moved in, jeez! First things first, I need to start changing addresses on all my credit cards, bank accounts, etcetera. Such a pain! :sarcastic: I’m trying to hurry and pack everything as fast as I can so I can be out by Wednesday, if not before. It makes it easier that I’m not working or going to school. I can spend most of the day sifting through the apartment. It’s amazing how much stuff you accumulate when you’re a packrat!

I’m dying to see the Sex and the City movie! I dunno if I’ll be able to see it this weekend or not, but hopefully I can. My friend went to a midnight showing and he said it was absolutely awesome. I need to see it!!

Edit: Just got the results back from my TOPT exam…I PASSED!! I’m relieved and I’m over the moon happy about it! That was the third and final exam that I needed to pass in order to get my certification for teaching. All I have to do now is fork over the hundreds of dollars to get it. :sarcastic:
