What you are looking at in this picture is indeed an iPhone. Oh, but this is not just any iPhone. This is my very own iPhone, which my wonderful fiance gave to me as a gift!

Not only that, but he did something to it that made me very happy. Rob, being the hacker extraordinaire, was able to make the iPhone compatible with the T-Mobile network! So we don’t have to break our contract, and I still get to have my dream phone. Everything works perfectly on it, from YouTube to texting. I’m so in love with this thing! I just finished uploading some of my music and videos on it, and I love the way it plays. It looks and sounds crystal clear!

The only thing that disappoints me a little is the volume of the phone itself. It’s very heard to hear the person on the other line, especially with any background noise. I’m very hard of hearing to begin with, so it’s a little challenging when talking to someone on the phone. I’d rather use the speaker so I can hear them clearly. But seeing as though I hardly ever use the phone to call anyone, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be a big problem. I usually text people instead, except for my mom and sister who don’t have texting capabilities. Eh. :sarcastic:

Anyway, I’m just really proud of Rob because he was able to do all of this for me. He’d been researching online to see how other people have hacked into the phone, and he was finally able to do it after putting in some good hours working on it. I’m amazed every day by the things that he can do. I’m sure they can put his hacking skills to good use in the Navy!

Congrats on the phone. I, myself, think the phone is ridiculous as I just need a phone to call people.

I remember you mentioned that he was trying on Snark, and I didn’t think he’d be able to :P Congrats on the phone though! It must be super cool. I just saw Time (magazine) with the iPhone as the #1 invention of 2007.

That was so sweet of him to do! I want the iphone myself but I would want someone to make it TMobile compatible as well.
