I’M GOING TO GREAT LAKES TO SEE MY HUSBAND!!!

His graduation date was set for April 4th, as long as he passed all required tests and whatnot. I had been waiting to hear from him all weekend, and finally today he called me while I was working with my group of kids. The whole class heard the phone, and my heart skipped a beat. I knew it was him the moment I saw the area code for Great Lakes, and I was hoping to hear some good news. I’m just thankful he didn’t play an awful April Fool’s joke on me and told me he failed or something. I miss my husband so bad, I can’t wait to get him off base and smother him with hugs and smooches. :shy: He’s not allowed to do anything other than hold my arm while on base in uniform, so that is why we must get him off base ASAP!

I’m kind of nervous as well, because I’ll be flying entirely alone. It’s going to be my very first time flying ever, and I’m deathly afraid that I will get lost somewhere in Chicago. I’m also terrified I’ll get a crazy taxi driver who decides that abducting me would be much more fun that doing work. I’m paranoid, and it’s all thanks to my overactive imagination. HOWEVER! I’m going to be a brave girl and tough it out because I love my husband. :shy:

I have so much to do and not enough time to do it! I need to wash the laundry and decide what to take. Most importantly, I need to get myself some luggage! I don’t have anything to put my stuff in. I’m opting to carry-on, because I don’t want to hassle with baggage claim. I’m not sure what to expect, and I’m praying that I don’t get sick or anything. I’m also praying I don’t get stuck next to a fat man or a lady with a fussy baby. It’d be just my luck to land in a seat next to one of those. :sarcastic:

Well, it’s good-bye for now. I’m off to a weekend with my husband (FINALLY!!).
