It’s been so difficult to actually get online to try and update this thing. All I want to do when I get home from my student teaching is sleep! Kids at school really do wear you out! Then after I come home, I have things that need to be done around the house. Gone are the days when mommy used to clean up and take care of things. I actually have to do it myself.

Not that I mind, of course, but it’s become much more of a chore since I started doing my student teaching. Rob really helps me out a lot, though. He came home early from work the other day and cleaned up the house for me. I came home with aching feet and we just spent the evening on the couch watching television while he rubbed my feet. Now that’s love!

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to get on here, but finally things have settled down and we were finally able to get the cable connected in our new apartment. I’m finally able to surf the internet at incredible speeds! I used to wait years for a page to load with my old dial-up connection.

The wedding is now over, and I find myself suffering from post-wedding depression sometimes. I know it sounds very selfish and egotistical of me, but I loved being the center of attention and having the paparazzi (aka, my sister-in-law) follow Rob and me around to take photos of our every move! We have over two hundred photos from the wedding that we need to have developed and put into albums. We didn’t bother to hire a professional photographer since my sister-in-law volunteered to take care of that for us. She used to be in the photography business and has all the high tech stuff. No professional photographer would have given us 250 pictures of our wedding without charging us an arm and a leg. I’m definitely going to try and post them on flickr or something when I get the chance.

I start school tomorrow. I’m doing my student teaching this semester so I have to meet with my mentor teacher bright and early. I’m so excited to finally be in the classroom working with the kids and getting all that hands-on experience! I’ll have total control of that classroom after the fourth week, which is kind of scary but I know I can handle it.

Well, I’m off to work. Unfortunately I still have to work weekends at my old job. Bah humbug. :sarcastic:
