Coco Chanel I have the absolute best fiancĂ© in the world! He always spoils me, and he almost outdid himself again this year. I say almost because last Christmas was when he proposed to me, and nothing can top that Christmas! Anyway, this Christmas I got the Coach tote that I had been eying for a while, the iPhone, and (as you can see) a brand new pair of Coco Chanel sunglasses! I was so heartbroken when he broke my very first pair of Chanel glasses that were given to me by a close friend and co-worker. I hadn’t even had them for a day before he knocked them out of my head and onto the pavement! I think he’s felt bad ever since so he felt the need to get me a new pair. Not that I mind, of course. :sarcastic:

Things are going well with the wedding plans. We’re now a little more than a week away from the big day, and there’s still so much left to do! But I know it will all get done in the end, and I’m just so excited! We’ll be able to move into our new apartment next Wednesday, so we have to start packing up our stuff into boxes to make things easier for when the time comes. Which means I’m going to be throwing out a whole bunch of stuff as well. I’ve accumulated a whole bunch of junk over the years, mostly due to the fact that I don’t want to throw anything away for fear of needing it one day. I’m secretly a packrat, hehe. I knew I’d have to sort through all my junk someday, and now the time has come.

And now I leave you with two cute pictures of my (almost) one month old niece, Nicole Elise:

Nicole Elise, yawning!
Nicole Elise, having a pleasant dream!

It’s Christmas Eve, and I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone who celebrates this holiday season a very merry Christmas.

I’m stuck working until nine o’clock tonight, but then I’ll be home celebrating Christmas with my family and eating our traditional hot tamales! Yum!! We usually eat and celebrate until two or three in the morning, and everyone usually opens their gifts once midnight comes around. I do remember waking up first thing Christmas morning to open gifts, but now we usually just open them on Christmas Eve! This is mostly due to the kids that can’t wait until Christmas morning, but it’s something that we’ve been doing for years now. :sly:

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!
